A message from Hanshi Brian Herbert 9th Dan.
I hope you are all well and coping with the Lockdown. Here is a update on training
Firstly, I hope you are all keeping safe and well. I thought I would take a moment to contact you and let you know we are keeping a close eye on the situation at the moment. Obviously our priority is the safety and well-being of all our students, helpers, and Senseis', but I am sure like me you are keen to get back to training as soon as possible. We are looking at different options on how we can restart our training within the current guidelines.
Current Sport England and Government guidelines still make it impossible for us to train at the moment, however, things appear to be changing on a daily basis and we promise to let you know as soon as we know. Possibly the first stage for us to reopen is to may train in small groups outdoors adhering to the 2 meter social distancing, however, sadly at the moment we still don't think this is safe to do so.
Please all stay safe
Hanshi Brian - 1st June 2020
Please stay in touch with your Club Sensei, or check the website regularly for updates.
Hanshi Herbert advised that the Tilbury Club will be designated as an Instructors Club. Special instruction will be organised for those going ahead with Dan Gradings, Syllabus questions and queries will be addressed, Kata checked, and Instructors will be in a position to request specific training to meet their individual requirements. The Club will cater to all instructors within the Jikishin Ju Jitsu Association. Hanshi Brian Herbert will be coaching.
