The Imperial Jikishin Ju-Jitsu Club (IJJC) is a friendly place to learn the Japanese martial art of ju-jitsu. Everyone is welcome regardless of ability or previous experience.
Ju-jitsu is a practical self-defence oriented martial art based around throws, joint locks, pressure attacks and self-protection applications. We offer a syllabus-based class where you will learn techniques involving these elements, and many more aspects to this fascinating martial art.
First two lessons free!
If you are interested in learning more, we offer two free taster classes. All you need is some comfortable, loose-fitting clothes (e.g., t-shirt, jogging bottoms). No footwear is necessary.
If you would like to continue training with us after these two classes, all you need to do is complete a membership form to join the Jikishin Ju-Jitsu Association and UKMAGB (membership fee currently £25 per year)..
Classes are then just £8 each – you pay this per class when you can attend.
